For the first time in seven centuries, we had the distinct honor of reconstructing the traditional Arabian-style Mamluk sword, characterized by its straight, double-edged blade and its unique hilt.
Using a historical sample from the 8th century AH (14th century CE), We took precise measurements and produced detailed sketches of the hilt and blade, documenting its length, thickness, and taper along the entire profile. This reconstruction, grounded in authentic dimensions, marks a pioneering step in reviving straight-edged swords from Islamic history—now recreated using modern carbon steel.
